Condition
The panel is sound. There are minor scratches to the reverse. Very minor paint loss the upper right and upper left sections. Very minor frame abrasion especially to the upper right edge. Very light surface scrathes in places (particularly in the upper section). Light craquelure in places. Ultraviolet light reveals spots of retouching in various places in the background - further spots to the left figure's arm but a thick, uneven varnish prevents a more conclusive inspection.Held in a decorative gold painted frame with damge to the moulding.
