Description
- The multiplication of loaves and fishes
- oil on panel, in a carved and gilt wood frame
Condition
There are two horizontal cracks which are visible on both sides of the panel (both are visible in the catalogue image). One runs through the sky portion. The other runs through the centre of the panel (through Christ's midsection). The central crack runs in sections and is actually composed of a series of smaller cracks. Both cracks have been retouched. There are some paint losses along the edges of the cracks.
The reverse of the panel has been reinforced. There is some paint loss in the centre near the right edge. There are some minor retouched specks throughout.
