Condition

The canvas is original and tightly held in the stretcher. There is craquelure to the paint surface including light stretcher marks. Minor frame abrasion in places. Very minor surface scratches towards the upper edge.Ultraviolet light reveals minor retouching and infilling to craquelure to some areas beneath the thick uneven varnish. Held in a gold highlighted decorative wooden frame in fair condition.
