Original canvas. Good overal condition. Inscription Maroc on the reverse. Few small repaints on the central woman face, on the background and also few small in the woman dress.

Catalogue Note
Après avoir étudié à l'école des Beaux Arts de Madrid, Cruz Herrera voyagea beaucoup. Il fit un premier voyage au Maroc dans les années vingt et y retourna en 1923 pour établir sa résidence à Casablanca. Il envoya des oeuvres au Salon Artistique de l'Afrique Française. José Cruz Herrera représenta souvent des scènes de la vie quotidienne des femmes marocaine, avec une atmosphère gaie et lumineuse comme c'est le cas dans l'oeuvre présentée.
