Good overall condition. Scratches has been restored and it looks used along the edges.

Catalogue Note

Le sikhisme est l'une des quatre grandes religions de l'Inde, fondée par Nanak (1469-1538) au Pendjab. 
Un pastel identique (donc très probablement le nôtre) est reproduit au catalogue de l'exposition citée ci-dessous, à la fin de l'introduction de Camille Mauclair sous le titre "Deux profils d'Hindous". Il existe une huile sur toile de même sujet, donnée par Monsieur et Madame Zagorowski en 1976 au Musée Paul Valéry à Sète.
