The central panel is a 19th century copy after the central panel of the Madonna della Stella, Museo di San Marco, Florence (see J. Pope Hennessy, Fra Angelico, London 1952, p. 99, reproduced plate XXXVII), the wings are copies of details of the Linaiuolo triptych also in the Museo di San Marco, Florence (see ibid, 169-170, reproduced plates 16-24).
