Condition

The support consists of two horizontal panels joined together on the reverse. The paint surface is stable and under a glossy varnish. There are a few minor retouchings visible to the naked eye. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals older scattered retouchings to the sky and also along the panel join and in some other areas. The painting is offered in an ebonised wood frame which is in fair condition.
