The canvas has an old relining. The paint surface is generally sound and other a thick varnish which is a little discoloured. This varnish impedes satisfactory inspection under UV light though some retouchings and strengthenings are apparent. Offered in a carved and gilt wood frame in good condition with some minor knocks.
