Condition
The single flat panel is cradled to the reverse. The paint surface is secure although has been substantially abraded over time, particularly in the sky and the distant landscape, which has been subsequently retouched. In addition, there are some small infilled paint losses in the sky and a thin restored horizontal crack upper right of approximately 25 cm. which has also been retouched. Inspection under UV light reveals scattered retouchings throughout the sky. The painting is offered in a carved and gilt wood frame.
