The canvas has an old relining. There are several small patches on the reverse where small holes have been repaired. The paint surface is generally sound although somewhat abraded. There is a horizontal seem along the upper edhe of the canvas, aprox 15 cm from the edge. There are some scattered retouchings visible to the naked eye throughout. Inspection under UV light reveals further retouchings scattered throughout most notably to the darker areas. Offered in a later painted wooden frame with some minor knocks and paint losses.
