Condition
The canvas has been relined. The paint surface is largely secure with some areas of abrasion and some minor paint loses along the edges. There is a thick, dirty and somewhat yellowed varnish which prevents throurough examination under UV light although scattered retouchings do flouresce. Further scattered retouchings are visible to the naked eye.
Offered in a wood and plaster painted frame in fair condition with some losses.
