Condition

The canvas has been relined quite recently. There is a substanital amount of restored damage, in particular to an r-shaped tear upper left. Retouchings are visible in this areas when inpsected under ultraviolet light. Further retouchings are present throughout. The lot is offered in a later carved gilt and painted wood frame which has some paint losses and chips but is overall in very fair condition.
