Condition
The panel is cradled to the reverse. The cradling unfortunately prevents distinction as to whether there are four vertical cracks or whether these are in fact panel joins. The paint suface is secure but extensively retouched, particularly along the cracks where there has been paint loss, and this is confirmed by ultraviolet inspection. The lot is offered in a carved gilt wood frame which has suffered some knocks.
