Description

  • Jacques-Charles Oudry
  • a still life with Peaches, plums and hazelnuts on a wooden table
  • oil on canvas

Condition

The canvas has an old relining. The paint surface is in sound condition with fine cracquelure throughout and stretcher marks visible along the edges. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals that the darker areas of the still life have been strengthened, particularly the leaves. The painting is offered in a carved wooden frame in reasonable condition.
