Description

  • The 'Venus of Urbino'

Condition

The canvas has an effective relining. The paint surface is generally secure and under a thick discoloured varnish. There are several ares of abrasion. Inspection under UV light reveals extensive old retouchings. Offered in a later wood and plaster frame in reasonable condition.
