  • brushed on the reverse of the stretcher with the old inventory number: n478
  • oil on canvas

Condition

The canvas has been relined. The paint surface is generally secure although there are several areas of abrasion. Inspection under UV reveals scattered retouchings particularly to the plants in his hat and details in his clothing. The varnish is somewhat discoloured and masks older areas of retouching. Offered in a painted wood frame in good condition.
