Condition
The canvas has an old relining. The paint surface is fairly dirty and has some losses throughout, many of which have been infilled and many of the other details have been retouched, particularly the young gentleman's hair and details of the globe. The thick yellowing varnish impedes further inspection under UV light. Offered in a wood and plaster painted frame which is in fair condition.
