Condition
The single slate plate is laid down on a cradled panel. The paint surface is overall sound with what appears to be a restored diagonal crack lower left of approximately 10 cm. There are some scattered paint losses and some discoloured retouchings. These retouchings fluoresce under ultraviolet light. Offered in a later wooden frame.
