Condition

The canvas has been relined. The paint surface, which is under a discoloured varnish, is generally secure though a little abraded in places. There are some scattered paint losses and old discoloured retouchings visible to the nakes eye. Thorough inspection under UV light is impede by the masking varnish but some scattered retouchings and strengthenings are visible. Offered in a carved and gilt wood frame in reasonable condition.
