Condition
The canvas has quite an old relining. There is a small vertical tear centre left of aprox 2cm. There are further restored damages particularly in the upper area of the sky and what appers to be a restored vertical tear of aprox 40 cm in the centre. The paint surface is somewhat worn in the background and there are discoloured retoushings visible to the nakes eye scattered throughout. The varnish has yellowed. Inspection under UV is prevented by the varnish, althouhg scattered retouchings do flouresce. Offered in a wood and plaster gilded frame in fair condition with some paint losses.
