Condition
The canvas has been relined. The paint surface is generally secure despite the craquelure throughout although some areas are somewhat rubbed, particularly the foreground figures. Despite the thick and somewhat discoloured varnish inspection under UV light reveals old retouchings to the sky and other areas. Offered in a modern frame.
