  • A wooded landscape with figures before a cottage
  • indistinctly signed and dated lower right: CvZwteren 16...

Condition

The support consists of two horizontal panels joined 10 cm from the upper edge and appear to have been cradled in the past. The paint surface is generally sound but there are some areas of wear and the varnish has discoloured somewhat. Discoloured retouchings along the panel join and other areas are visible to the naked eye. Inspection under UV light reveals further retouchings and strengthenings scattered throughout. Offered in a later wooden frame which has suffered some damages.
