Condition

The canvas has been laid on board. The paint surface is generally sound althouhg somewhat dirty. Inspection under UV light reveals extensive old retouchings and strengthenings. Offered in an elaborate gilt wood and plaster composition frame which is in fair but fragile condition with some knocks.
