Condition

The support consists of two horizontal panels joined together and there is bevelling on all four edges. The paint surface is largely secure with some minor scratches to the surface and some frame abrasion along the edges. Inspection under UV light reveals some minor retouching and strengthening throughout, particularly to the details of the staffage and the areas of frame abrasion. The painting is offered in a modern wooden frame in very good condition.
