The actual painting is a bit more brown in tone than the catalogue illustration suggests. The single panel is bevelled on all sides and is flat. Minor abrasion is visible both in the ships outer left and right. One tiny dent, resulting in a paint loss can be seen in the big ship to the left, but otherwise the paint surface is in good condition. The varnish is dirty and yellowed, with scattered spots of surface dirt.
UV-light is impeded by the varnish layer. Offered in a gilt wood frame, in good condtion.
