The Antwerp panelmaker currently identified as the 'Meester met het kruisje zonder cirkel' , active circa 1617, is mentioned by Van Damme in his article on Antwerp panelmarks (see J. van Damme, 'De Antwerpse tafereelmakers en hun merken.
