Etching printed with tone, 1915, signed in turquoise ink, aside from the edition of 102, published by Edition Lucien Vollard-Marcel Lecomte, Paris, on MBM wove paper, with full margins, in good condition apart from light and mount-staining, remains of hinges and associated skinning at edges of sheet verso

Condition

The image is in good condition apart from overall pale light-staining. A second band of light-staining to the margins. A vertical crease in top left margin extending into the image. A handling crease at lower right corner of sheet. A small stray ink mark at lower edge of sheet and other occasional handling marks and discoloration to margins. Remains of four strips of hinging tape at left and right edges of sheet verso with associated skinning. Remains of brown paper tape along top edge of sheet verso. Uneven backboard-staining.

Baer notes that in addition to the edition of 1947 consisting of 102 impressions signed in red crayon, Marcel Lecomte had Picasso sign a number of impressions in the late 1950s.
