Purchased, New York, Christie's, 28 January 1999, lot 58 (as Florentine School, circa 1570, mentioning a suggested attribution to Giovanni da San Giovanni)
Condition
Laid down and made up, top and lower left, and irregularly cut, upper right, several tears and creases, chalk still quite strong.
