Condition

Relined. Good overall condition. Few small repaints scattered on the surface and a bigger repaint lower left under a column. Many very thin cracks on all surface. Colors are slightly brighter on the painting itself than on the photo.

Monsieur Dario Succi a suggéré l'attribution de ce tableau à Giuseppe Ponga, artiste qui se spécialisa dans les vues de Venise à la manière de Guardi et de Canaletto. Notre tableau reprend une composition de Guardi conservée au musée de la Ca' d'Oro à Venise.
