The catalogue illustration reflects perfectly the colours of the painting.
After examination under the UV lamp, a 3 cm repaint is visible along the upper part of the painting.
There are small more recent repaints, especially in the draped clothing, on the chest, next to the left arm. Probably some older repaints under the varnish.
The flesh tints are very well preserved.
