Good overall condition.
Seems to be repaints all along the statue on the right hand side and also and the left hand side.

Catalogue Note
En 1894-1895 Helleu envisagea de collaborer avec le critique Henri de Régnier à un ouvrage sur les statues du parc de Versailles. Ce livre ne vit jamais le jour, mais Helleu peignit toute une série de tableaux sur ce sujet. Il les exposa au Salon du Champ de Mars puis les conserva dans sa collection.
