Catalogue Note

Le Château d'Aubiry à Céret appartenait à la famille de Joseph Bardou, fondateur au XIXè siècle de la célèbre usine de papier JOB à Perpignan. Aubiry fut construit entre 1894 et 1900 pour Justin Bardou, petit fils de Joseph, par l'architecte danois Vigo Dorph Petersen. Le tableau présenté ici a été acquis par la famille Bardou, pour le château, probablement dès la fin du XIXè ou le tout début du XXè siècle.
