Condition

Good overall condition. Few repaints in the background and two repaints on the tries in the middle. Small patch on the tries in the middle.

Catalogue Note

Georges Rodrigues-Henriques était ami et élève de Camille Corot. Il exposa régulièrement au Salon de Paris à partir de 1874. Il possédait le château de Lions à Port-Marly où Corot séjourna plusieurs fois en 1872-1873. Lors de ces séjours, Corot aurait exécuté plusieurs toiles, dont Le Parc des Lions à Port-Marly, conservé au musée Thyssen-Bornemisza, Madrid.
