Condition
This work appears to be in generally good conditions overall. The canvas it is slighty wavy . There are traces of craquelures along the borders, towards the centre of the painting and to the right of the man's face. There is a punctiform paint loss by the lower left corner. Under the UV light are visible some retouches along the upper margin, on the man's figure and by the lower right corner.
