Condition
The painting and canvas are in good condition.
The canvas is clear and taut and no retouching was detected upon examination under ultraviolet light. The paint layers are intact and in stable condition.
The colours of the catalogue illustration are too reddish, as the skin tone of the figures is not purplish and has a darker sheen to it. The shirt on the male figure is also more bluish grey than illustrated.
