Condition
The painting is in good, original condition with a clear and taut canvas.
Examination under ultraviolet light reveals retouching on the female figure in the middle and also on the left forearm and glove of male figure in the background. Retouching is visible only upon examination under ultraviolet light.
The colour of the skin tone is less reddish compared to the catalogue illustration.
