Condition

The painting is in good condition. The silk is in good condition with neither runs nor holes except for some imperfect weave. The colour of the painting is a little more subtle and not as bright toned as illustrated. Overall, the painting is a little dimmer in reality.

A charcoal drawing of the present Lot, executed in 1936 still remains in the collection of the artist
