Condition
The painting is in good, original condition with a clear and taut canvas.
Examination under ultraviolet light reveals no indication of retouching.
The paint surface appears to be in good condition with the paint layers, brushwork and impasto being intact and well-preserved.
The colours of the catalogue illustration are quite accurate, though the colour pink is 'fresher' and of a slight lighter tone in reality.
