Condition
Both the painting and canvas are in good condition. The canvas is clear and taut.
Examination using ultraviolet light gives no indication of retouching.
The paint layers are intact.
The colours shown in the catalogue illustration are quite accurate, although the colours of painting are much more intense and stronger in reality.
