Condition
The painting is in good condition.
The canvas is in good condition with a clear and taut surface. Examination under ultraviolet light shows no indication of retouching. The paint layers are stable and intact.
The overall colour of the catalogue illustration is too reddish. Additionally, the purple in the actual painting is more bluish and the green on the boat is more prominent.
