Condition
The painting is rilined.
From a first inspection a lot of craquelures are evident all over the surface. There are some losses of colour at the top right-hand edge, along the left-hand border near the horizon line, above the dog's head and on the girl's dress. There are old retouches.
The ultra violet light reveals a thick fluorescent varnish spread homogeneusly; underneath this varnish there are some retouches.
The painting nedd restoration and a careful cleansing.
