Condition
The illustration is slightly overexposed in comparison with the painting.
The canvas has been relined and it is mounted in a wood and plaste gilt, probably XVII Century, italian frame.
To the naked eye the paint surface appears a little bit worn and the tipycal XVI Century venetian herringbone canvas is visible, as well as minor discolored restoration spread throughout the whole composition.
The thick varnish layer impedes clear inspection under ultra-violet light but few other restoration can be seen.
