Catalogue Note
This is one of the last glasses made at the old Whitefriars factory in January 1923, watched by the Lord Mayor of London. Shortly afterwards the company moved its new site at Wealdstone. See L.Jackson (ed.), Whitefriars Glass, The Art of James Powell, p.144, pl.174, no.II
