possibly for the Brazilian market, after a European neo-classical faience prototype with moulded flower-head garlands suspended from the shoulder, each applied at the shoulder with a pair of angular āSā-shaped handles, with an oval panel on either side painted in sepia with a European country house and garden scene, the base enamelled to simulate marble, the domed cover surmounted by a seated maiden
