The slightly tapering collar of openwork design, centring on thirteen octagonal step-cut rubies and marquise-shaped diamonds, within a surround of brilliant-cut diamonds, the rubies together weighing approximately 19.00 carats and diamonds approximately 35.00 carats, mounted in 18 karat yellow gold, length approximately 380mm, with maker's marks and numbered 31661.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: The rubies are of slightly purplish red colour in medium tone and well matched. There are typical silk and feather inclusions under 10x loupe, not noticeable when worn. The diamonds are generally about G-H colours, VS clarity.
Condition: A typical 1980's design characterised by a structured collar in yellow gold, using gemstones of high quality. In very good condition.
