JADEITE AND DIAMOND BROOCH

Designed as a single flower formed of three carved jadeite plaques of highly translucent emerald green colour, completed by stems and leaves set with brilliant-cut diamonds of near-colourless to vivid yellow hues, mounted in 18 karat white and yellow gold. 

Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the jadeite plaques are of matching and even, deep emerald green colour, with fine translucency. There are a few dark inclusions and white spots under strong illumination, but not seen to unaided eyes. Yellow and white diamonds together weighing approximately 1.40 and 0.55 carats respectively, the yellow diamonds are about vivid to deep yellow colour; while other diamonds are probably of E to F colours, overall in VS to SI clarity. Condition: Good workmanship with sweet design, in very good condition, almost as new.
