AMETHYST AND GARNET RING

Of medieval inspiration, centring on a circular-cut amethyst weighing approximately 10.30 carats, framed by similarly-cut red garnets continuing throughout the shank, the garnets together weighing approximately 11.00 carats, mounted in 18 karat yellow and blackened gold.

Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the amethyst are of medium to medium dark, intense purple colour, very clean to both naked eyes and 10x check, nice brilliant stone. Garnets in the surround are probably of medium dark, red colour, eye clean. Condition: Eternity mount with garnet set throughout the shank, which cannot be re-sized. Current ring size is 7. The colour combination in blackened gold mount gives a vintage look, in mint condition.
