Each set with an octagonal step-cut emerald weighing 10.31 and 10.61 carats respectively, surrounded by brilliant-cut diamonds altogether weighing approximately 10.50 carats, mounted in platinum, clip fittings.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to Gubelin reports, the two emeralds are of Colombian origin, with minor clarity enhancement. Please refer to the reports for details. In our opinion, both emeralds are of nice saturated green colour, in matching size and make. Very clean to naked eyes, there is no surface reaching flaw but one emerald has a small nick on girdle; and both show only a few minor inclusions under 10x loupe which is very rare in emerald particularly of this size. Surrounding diamonds are probably of F to G colours, VVS2 to VS1 clarity, brilliant stones. Clip back fittings only.
Condition: Classic design, in mint condition.
In response to your inquiry, we are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described above. Since we are not professional conservators or restorers, we urge you to consult with a restorer or conservator of your choice who will be better able to provide a detailed, professional report. Prospective purchasers are reminded that, unless the catalogue description specifically states that a stone is natural, we have assumed that some form of treatment may have been used and that such treatment may not be permanent. Our presale estimates reflect this assumption.

Catalogue Note
Accompanied by Gübelin reports numbered 0702696 and 0702697, both dated 21 February 2007, stating that the 10.31 and 10.61 carat emeralds are natural, of Columbian origin, with indications of minor clarity enhancement. Natural emeralds are commonly clarity enhanced.
