The flexible scalloped edge necklace, set with oval rubies of graduated sizes, supporting swags of brilliant-cut diamonds, joined by floral motifs each centring on a step-cut ruby surrounded by half moon-shaped diamonds, the rubies and diamonds together weighing approximately 76.20 and 33.50 carats respectively, mounted in 18 karat white and yellow gold, length approximately 380mm.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to GRS report, all rubies are natural, of Burmese origin, with no indication of thermal treatment. Please refer to the report for details. In our opinion, all rubies are probably of matching, saturated, slightly purplish red to red colours, in medium to medium dark tone. They are generally eye clean with good brilliance, but a few may show silky inclusions upon close inspection. Round diamonds are probably of G colour, VVS2 to VS clarity; while the half-moon diamonds are mostly of H to I colours with a few of K, VS to SI clarity.
Condition: Very elegant design, necklace sits well on necklace, in mint condition.

Prospective purchasers are reminded that, unless the catalogue description specifically states that a stone is natural, we have assumed that some form of treatment may have been used and that such treatment may not be permanent. Our presale estimates reflect this assumption.
NOTWITHSTANDING THIS REPORT OR ANY DISCUSSIONS CONCERNING CONDITION OF A LOT, ALL LOTS ARE OFFERED AND SOLD "AS IS" IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONDITIONS OF SALE PRINTED IN THE CATALOGUE.
