The swing pendant set in the centre with a baroque fire opal weighing approximately 35.25 carats, within a micro pavé-set brilliant-cut diamond frame, suspending an articulated fringe of circular and pear-shaped rose-cut diamonds, accompanied by a chain necklace spectacle-set with similarly-cut diamonds, the diamonds together weighing approximately 9.45 carats, mounted in 18 karat blackened gold, length approximately 720mm.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the baroque-shaped fire opal is semi-transparent, of vibrant orange colour with noticeable green, yellow and red play-of-colour. Generally, all near-colourless diamonds are of about G to H colours, VS to SI1 clarity. A few round diamonds set atop the fire opal are probably of light yellowish brown colour, similar clarity. The diamond-set necklace can possibly be worn separately as single-row long chain or double-row choker.
Condition: In mint condition.
